# Curb

> Curb moves an existing website onto fast, AI-ready hosting and keeps it there. Every Curb site publishes llms.txt, facts.json and its own MCP server, so assistants can read the business and act on it. Owners run their account from their own AI: connect it once, and it can move a site or start a new one, take them to checkout, follow the build, connect their domain and make edits.

Curb hosts any website that is not an online store: businesses, startups, agencies, creatives, nonprofits, publications, events and personal sites. It either migrates an existing site as-is onto its stack, or rebuilds it from what the current site says. Hosting, SSL, backups and changes are included, and the owner keeps the code.

## Act on hicurb.com (no account needed)

Everything a visitor can do here, an agent can do without an account or a key: check a website, start a Curb site from it or from nothing but the business, sign someone up, contact the team, ask for a call or join the newsletter.

MCP server (Streamable HTTP, no authentication): https://app.hicurb.com/api/public/mcp

The same tools as JSON: `POST https://app.hicurb.com/api/public/<tool>` with the tool's arguments as a JSON body; it answers `{ "ok": true, "result": … }`.

- `get_plans`: The plans, prices, included Curb AI and the migration fee
- `audit_site`: A free speed, SEO and AI-readiness check of any website
- `start_site`: Start a Curb site from a current website: Curb reads it for free and returns the plan link to pay; the build starts after payment
- `start_new_site`: Start a Curb site for a business with no website yet, from its name and what it does: Curb returns the plan link to pay, with no migration fee; the build starts after payment
- `suggest_domains`: Addresses for a business that has none, checked for whether they look free
- `site_request_status`: How far a started site has got, and the link to pick a plan and pay once Curb has read (or, for a new site, priced) it
- `sign_up`: Make a Curb account: Curb emails a sign-in link that creates it
- `contact_curb`: Send the Curb team a message; a person replies by email
- `book_call`: Ask for a call at up to three times that suit; Curb confirms by email
- `newsletter_subscribe`: Join Curb's newsletter

To move someone's site: `start_site` with its address and their email, then `site_request_status` until it gives the plan link. The owner opens that link to pick a plan and pay; their account is made with the payment, and the build starts then. Nothing is built, and there is no preview, before payment.

For a business with no website yet: `start_new_site` with its name, what it does and their email (and `suggest_domains` if they need an address), then `site_request_status` for the plan link. A new site has no migration fee. Only send what the person asked for, with the details they gave.

## Run a Curb account from an AI assistant

MCP server (Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration): https://app.hicurb.com/api/mcp

The owner signs in to Curb and allows the connection; there is no key to copy.

- ChatGPT: turn on developer mode in ChatGPT's settings and add a custom app; name it Curb, paste the server URL, and choose OAuth; sign in to Curb and allow the connection
- Claude: settings → Connectors → Add custom connector; name it Curb and paste the server URL; connect, then sign in to Curb and allow the connection
- Grok: grok.com/connectors → New connector → Custom; name it Curb and paste the server URL; sign in to Curb and allow the connection
- Claude Code: add the server, then run /mcp and choose Curb to sign in. Command: `claude mcp add --transport http curb https://app.hicurb.com/api/mcp`

### Move a website

- `account_overview`: Every site on the account, with its stage and addresses
- `site_create`: Start a Curb site from a current website (migrate it as-is, or rebuild it), or a new one for a business with no website
- `site_status`: Where a site is: waiting on a plan, building, ready to preview, or live
- `plans_list`: The plans and what each costs
- `checkout_link`: A link for the owner to pay on Curb's checkout page; the build starts after payment

### Put it on a domain

- `domain_lookup`: Who hosts a domain's DNS and whether it carries email
- `domain_connect`: The one DNS record to add; email is never touched
- `domain_status`: Whether the record and certificate are live

### Edit and run it

- `site_get`: The site's content and the fields that can change
- `site_propose`: Draft text edits on a rebuilt site
- `site_request_change`: Describe a change to a migrated site in plain words
- `changes_approve`: Publish a change once the owner says yes
- `changes_list`: What changed, and what is waiting
- `site_versions`: Every published version
- `site_revert`: Put an earlier version back
- `leads_list`: Enquiries from the site's contact form
- `site_github_invite`: Invite the owner to the site's code on GitHub, with write access

Rules:

- Nothing is published until the owner says yes. Edits wait for changes_approve.
- Payment happens on Curb's checkout page, never in the chat. Nothing is built until a plan is paid for.
- Connecting a domain adds one DNS record and leaves email alone.
- Each connection can be revoked from the assistant at any time.
