The problem
Building a client site is the profitable part. Keeping it running is not: plugin updates, broken forms, a new photo every other week, each one too small to bill and too important to ignore. Most agencies end up running a support desk at a loss.
Put client sites on Curb
Move what you built
The migrate track moves a client site across as it is — your design, their pages, the same URLs — onto static hosting with nothing to patch.
Or start them fresh
For a client on an old site you did not build, we design a new one from what they have. They see their homepage before anyone pays.
Changes are not your job
The client asks, approves the preview, and it ships — usually within the hour. Plans from $29 a month, with hosting included.
The affiliate program
Refer clients, or anyone else, with your own link. You earn on what they pay, every month they pay it.
50%
of every paid invoice from a client you refer, net of tax
Lifetime
Recurring for as long as the client stays on Curb, not just the first year
90 days
Your link is remembered for this long after someone clicks it
$50
Payouts go out once your available balance reaches this
Payouts go through Stripe Connect, straight to your bank. Commission is held for 30 days after each invoice so refunds settle first. Not an agency? Customers can refer people too and get a free month for each one that sticks.
Questions from agencies
Sign in to Curb, open Partners, and join the affiliate program. You get your link straight away and connect a Stripe account to be paid.
Commission on each invoice is held for 30 days, so refunds and cancellations settle first. After that it becomes available and is paid out automatically through Stripe once your balance reaches $50. Anything below that rolls into the next payout.
Curb does. The client asks in chat or by text, approves the preview, and it ships. You are not the support desk for a site you no longer have to maintain.
Each site is on its own Curb plan, billed by Curb. If you charge clients for strategy, content or advice on top, that is between you and them.
Any site whose job is to explain, persuade and be found — businesses, startups, nonprofits, portfolios, events. Online stores are the one thing we do not build yet.
