Website design by AI

Designed by AI. Held to a standard by people.

Curb’s AI does the work that used to take an agency weeks — reading your business, writing the brief, building every page and checking it. A person owns every judgment call.

How a Curb site gets designed

01

Read

The AI reads your current site the way a visitor and a crawler would: your services, your words, your reviews, your photos, and the colours in your logo. Nothing is invented — if a fact is not there, it is left out or asked for.

02

Brief

A design brief picks an art direction (type, spacing, colour, how sharp or soft the shapes are), a hero composition that suits the photos you actually have, and which sections earn a place and in what order. Strongest proof goes first.

03

Write

Copy is written from your own material, in your voice, sized for the page. Headings say what you do; they do not say “Welcome to our website”.

04

Build

The site is built as fast static pages, with structured data, llms.txt and facts.json generated from one record of what is true about you.

05

Check

Every build has to clear 95 on Lighthouse performance, SEO and best practices, with zero automated accessibility violations, no broken links, and every form tested. A build that fails does not ship.

06

Review

A person samples quality and owns anything that is not routine. The AI does the work; the judgment stays with someone accountable.

Why constrained

An AI that can produce any layout will sometimes produce a broken one. Curb’s design choices come from a catalogue the build system can render correctly, so a brief can never produce a page that fails to build — but within it, a roofer and a dentist come out as different sites.

That constraint is also why every page clears the same quality bar. A beautiful site that loads slowly, fails a screen reader or breaks on a phone is not a finished site.

After launch

The same AI makes your changes. Describe what you want in chat or by text; it edits a preview, the preview is checked, and it goes live when you approve. Most changes are live within the hour.

Questions about AI design

It is designed around your own words, photos and brand colours, inside a set of art directions built by people. What you should not get is the generic look of a stock template, because the brief is written for your site in particular.

No. Facts about your business — services, hours, prices, credentials — come from you or your current site. If something is missing, it is left out. You see the site before it goes anywhere.

Say what you would change and it is changed on a preview. If you would rather keep the design you have, the migrate track moves your current site across as it is.

You do. The copy, images and design produced for your site are yours, and you can take the full source with you.
