Troubleshoot common issues

If /start cannot read the site, the domain is not live yet, or chat is missing.

Getting started

Paste your site. Look at the homepage. Pick a plan. The rest follows.

  1. Go to app.hicurb.com/start and paste the address of the site you have now.
  2. We read it and build a homepage you can click through. You do not need an account for that.
  3. If it is better, pick Standard or Pro and pay. The rest of the pages follow.
  4. Up to ten pages is Standard. More than ten pages is Pro.
  5. For a new design, the monthly or yearly plan is what you pay.
  6. Moving your existing site across as it is costs a one-time $199 on Standard or $399 on Pro, on top of the plan. If you are not happy with the move within 14 days of seeing it, that fee is refunded from your Plan page. If we cannot finish the move, it is refunded automatically.

Edit your site

Tell the portal chat what to change. Approve the draft. It ships.

  1. Open your site in the portal. The chat on that page is how you edit it.
  2. Write the change in your own words — hours, a phone number, a service you dropped, a headline.
  3. You get a draft back. Nothing goes live until you say yes.
  4. Copy, hours, phone and service edits usually ship the same day. A new page, a new look, or billing goes to a person.
  5. Chat includes $20 of our AI each rolling month on Standard and $40 on Pro. When that is used up, connect your own AI from Developer — those edits are unlimited and do not use the included pool.
  6. If chat is missing, the site was moved as-is and does not have an editable record yet. Use the bubble in the corner or email support@hicurb.com.

Domains & go-live

Connect the domain you already own. Preview stays up until DNS is live.

  1. After you pay, open your site and go to Domain.
  2. Enter the domain you already own. We never hold it hostage.
  3. We give you DNS records, or connect automatically when your registrar supports it.
  4. We check existing email hosting before anything changes so mail keeps working.
  5. When the domain is active, that address is your live site. Until then, use the preview link.
  6. Lost the registrar login? Stay on the preview until you get it back.

Billing

Standard $29 a month or $290 a year. Pro $59 a month or $590 a year.

  1. Standard is $29 a month or $290 a year. Up to ten pages.
  2. Pro is $59 a month or $590 a year. More than ten pages.
  3. Hosting, SSL, backups, forms, the lead inbox and monitoring are included.
  4. Moving your existing site as it is: a one-time $199 (Standard) or $399 (Pro) migration fee on the first invoice. Refund it yourself from the Plan tab within 14 days of the migrated site being ready.
  5. Each site includes $20 (Standard) or $40 (Pro) of Curb AI edits a month. After that, edits through your own AI are unlimited and do not use the included pool.
  6. Manage the card, receipts and cancel on your site's Plan tab.
  7. Month to month. Cancel whenever.

Troubleshoot common issues

If /start cannot read the site, the domain is not live yet, or chat is missing.

  1. Start cannot read your site: try the www and non-www addresses. If we still cannot get in, we will ask for details instead of calling it broken.
  2. The homepage is taking a while: a stalled build is shown as stalled, not as a spinner. Refresh, or chat with us.
  3. Your domain is not live: DNS can take a few hours. The preview link still works. If it has been a day, tell us.
  4. Chat is not on the site: a migrated copy cannot be edited that way yet. Ask us in the bubble or email support@hicurb.com.
  5. A change did not ship: the previous version stays live on purpose. Send the request again or ping us.
  6. Card or invoices: Plan tab on the site, then the billing portal.
